How the templates work
Your price sheet, once
The Rates tab holds your prices by story, material or roof shape. Every estimate reads from it, so you type your rates one time.
Quantities worked out
A side block counts downspouts, net wall area, squares with waste or controllers with the same rules Measured Bid uses.
Minimums built in
Small jobs rise to your minimum and the sheet says so, so a short run still covers the trip.
Or fill them from an address
Measured Bid measures the house from aerial data: feet of eave for gutters and lights, net wall area for paint and siding, squares for roofs. It prices the job with your rates and returns the same line items these templates have.
Your team runs estimates in the dashboard. Homeowners get a price range from a widget on your website.

Are the templates free?
Yes. Download them, change them and use them for your own business. You don't need an email address or an account.
Do they work in Google Sheets?
Yes. In Google Sheets, choose File, then Import, and upload the .xlsx file. The formulas, dropdowns and tabs come with it.
Where do the line items come from?
From the pricing editor in Measured Bid, which an exterior contractor built to price real jobs. Each trade has the lines that trade prices on: feet of eave, square feet of wall, or squares of roof.
Are the sample prices real market prices?
No. The Example tab and the previews use sample rates so you can see the math work. Put your own rates on the Rates tab.
