What gets measured

Wall and roof area

  • House washing uses gross wall area, including gable ends. Windows and doors stay in the area because they get rinsed too.
  • Roof cleaning uses sloped roof area. The steep adjustment applies only to the steep sections.
  • Gutter cleaning uses measured eave feet or your set price per house by story.
  • Driveways use your set price for the size the homeowner picks. Driveway area is not measured.
  • Selected services share one price range and the largest service minimum. You can set a bundle discount.

    FAQ

How much does it cost to wash a house?

The price depends on the wall area, number of stories and wall surface. You enter your rates and minimum. The homeowner sees a price range for the services they choose.

Is house washing priced by the square foot?

Yes. Measured Bid estimates square feet of outside wall from the roof outline and story count. Gable ends are included. Windows and doors stay in the area because they get rinsed too.

How much does roof cleaning cost?

Your rate per square foot sets the price. You can charge different rates for asphalt shingles, tile and metal. Story height and the steep part of the roof can add to the price.

How often should I wash my house and roof?

A house wash once a year is common. Roofs often need cleaning every one to three years. Humid areas may need it sooner. Confirm the condition and cleaning method at the visit.

    Is moss removal extra?

Dark streaks are covered by the roof cleaning rate. Thick moss can need hand work. You set a multiplier that applies when the homeowner checks the thick moss box.
