Hover builds a 3D model and measurements from photos taken with a phone at the property. Exterior projects cost $59 to $139 each on its Starter plan, less on Pro and Business. Measured Bid measures from aerial roof data with only an address, prices the job with your rates, and can show homeowners a price range on your website.
Hover measures walls, windows and doors in detail. Measured Bid estimates wall area from the roof outline and the number of stories. Use Hover when you are at the house and need exact takeoffs. Use Measured Bid for the price before anyone drives out.

How much does Hover cost?
As of September 2026, Hover's Starter plan charges $59 to $139 per exterior project by complexity. Pro is $999 a year with lower per-project prices, and Business is $2,999 a year with a flat $79 per exterior. See hover.to/pricing.
Does Measured Bid need photos of the house?
No. The homeowner or your team enters the address and confirms the house on a map.
How does Measured Bid estimate wall area for siding and painting?
It uses the roof outline, less the overhang, and the number of stories. Gable roofs add the triangles above the end walls, and a share for windows and doors that you set is deducted.
Can I use both?
Yes. Price the lead from the address, then capture the house with Hover at the appointment if the job needs exact takeoffs.
Does Measured Bid show homeowners a design?
No. It shows a price range for the trade you set up.
