Before you invite homeowners to use your widget, publish your own prices, allow your website and check lead delivery. Start in Pricing, choose your business and open Website form. The email check needs a verified sign-in email, full access to the widget and access to its lead email inbox.

## How do I check my quote widget before launch?

1. **Publish your prices.** Open Pricing. Replace the sample rates with your own, review the changes and publish them for every service you offer. A saved draft is separate from the prices homeowners see.
2. **Allow your website.** In widget settings, add the exact website under Websites. Include both the www and non-www versions if visitors use both. Copy the Website code from Website form. [Choose your installation method](https://measuredbid.com/docs/embed#platforms).
3. **Review the customer view.** Open Preview and check your business name, services, questions and price range. Then open the actual page on your website on a phone. Your website's page layout needs its own check.
4. **Check saved leads and email.** Save the lead email address in your widget settings. In Website form, choose Send test email. Review the saved test lead and email result. Open that inbox, enter the six-digit code from the message and choose Confirm receipt.
5. **Try the homeowner journey.** On your website, enter an address you have permission to test, confirm the house and use your own contact details. Submit one clearly labeled test request. Open that lead in Measured Bid and check the notification in your inbox.

## Read each delivery result

The delivery check separates three steps so you can see where to look next. It checks the saved lead and email route without measuring a property. The homeowner test checks the installed form separately.

| Result | What it shows | Your next check |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Test lead saved | The test request was saved for this widget in Measured Bid. | Open it in Leads and confirm it belongs to the intended business. |
| Accepted by email provider | The email provider accepted the notification for sending. | Open the destination inbox. Provider acceptance alone does not confirm the message reached it. |
| Receipt confirmed | The code from that test email was entered successfully. | Check that this is the inbox your team uses for new leads. |
| Email unavailable or failed | The check could not complete the email step. A saved test lead can still be reviewed. | Review the destination address and the result shown in Website form before running another check. |

The confirmation code expires after 15 minutes. Send a fresh test after changing prices, services, allowed websites or email settings, or when a check is over 30 days old. If you use a webhook, texts or a CRM, check the test request in each destination as part of the homeowner journey. [Webhook delivery details](https://measuredbid.com/docs/webhooks).

## Check the page your customers will use

| On your website | What to confirm |
| --- | --- |
| Open the quote page on a phone | The widget loads, its controls are reachable and the page scrolls naturally. Test the published website address, not only the site builder's editor. |
| Choose the address and house | The selected property is the one you intended to test. Review the measured scope and questions for your service. |
| Review the result | The estimate uses your published rates and shows the homeowner a range. Use your normal on-site review to confirm the final job scope and price. |
| Send your test request | Use your own contact details and label the name as a test. Open the saved lead and check its address, service and contact information. |
| Check your team's destination | Find the notification in the intended inbox or connected system. Follow the lead link and confirm your team can open the correct record. |

> **Use your own widget for this check.** The public demo uses sample rates and does not save leads. A new measured estimate on your own widget counts toward your account allowance. The trial includes 5 measured estimates; the delivery check itself does not measure a property.

## Review the plan for your launch

Check Settings, Billing for your account's current plan and remaining estimates. The plans below come from the same settings as the pricing page.

| Plan | Monthly price | Included estimates | Each extra estimate |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Starter | $99 | 150 | $0.50 |
| Pro | $249 | 600 | $0.35 |
| Multi-market | $499 | 2,000 | $0.30 |

The trial lasts 14 days or 5 measured estimates, whichever comes first, with no card required. Review the current [plans and included features](https://measuredbid.com/pricing) before choosing a plan in your account.

## Finish the check that needs attention

| What you see | Where to look |
| --- | --- |
| The widget is blank | Compare your page's address with Websites in widget settings. [Fix an unlisted website](https://measuredbid.com/docs/troubleshooting#blank). |
| The form is cut off on a phone | Check the embed code and the site builder's frame height. [Fix the frame](https://measuredbid.com/docs/troubleshooting#cut-off). |
| Homeowners get a visit request instead of a price | Review the address, service area, published rates and account plan. [Check the price flow](https://measuredbid.com/docs/troubleshooting#no-price). |
| Email was accepted but you cannot find it | Check the exact destination address, spam folder and inbox rules. Confirm only with the code from the message you receive. |
| The saved lead is missing from your CRM | Check the connected destination and its response. [Review webhook delivery](https://measuredbid.com/docs/webhooks). |
